Okay guys, it seems like the comments on this blog are going the way of the dodo, and you know what that means. Please, gratify my fragile ego! You know the situation is getting serious when I have to beg. Come on faithful readers, I know you're out there! (I think...)

I hardly got any comments for the first 10 months I was blogging. It's something that comes with patience and persistent posting. My trick is always to assume that no-one was going to read and comment. That way every comment was a pleasant surprise. Although begging for comments rarely works, I find that prompting people for their opinion (i.e. asking a question at the end of the post) will encourage people to join the conversation.
