Is it just me, or does anyone else get a funny taste in their mouth after looking at this picture. Klansmen couture is definitely the most offensive fashion statement I've seen in a long time. I know irony isn't dead with the hipster set, but I think wearing a massive hood with eye holes is thaking things a bit too far. Don't let racist-chic catch on, I'm begging you.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw it. I really can't stand things like this. Sometimes, these hipsters take their irony too far...
I hate it and also feel the urge to vomit when I see stuff like this... For me this isnt irony, this is a huge lack of respect for people and history!

It feels so creepy looking at that.
very well said susana.
yeah, for me it's the same way, people forget too easily. same with che guevara t-shirts, or worse - soviet union t-shirts. Communism was a regime that killed 20 million, not really a fashion statement. Anyway, I love your blog, it's very readable while excellently chic. Please ignore mine, it's a running blog from like 9th grade and the only account I have right now, not that interesting.
I saw it, but it's a french girl on facehunter right? So I mean, she could be using it in a non connected context. And to her it might not mean anything. But in a modern world, there should be no excuse right?
Poor, poor taste. Let it die and well, just let it die.
Who the EFF would design this? It's scary. Not a joke, and not something to be made light of for the sake of "fashion".
Just wrong. So wrong.
This is in very poor taste. Someone ealrier mentioned that she is French so lets hope this was done in ignorance. I think the person wearing the hood is Asian,if so then this is indeed sad.
Its not KKK, its Komakino.. Its this Korean/Italian fashion line, its not even vaguely related to the KKK.
I know this is an old post and you may not read this, but I just wanted to suggest that KKK culture may not be what this outfit is channeling. Some religious ceremonies in Spain include pointed white hats reminiscent of the KKK. The influence may be religious rather than racist.
