I wore this all yesterday for Friday night escapades.
On the way to a bus stop, I was approached by a strange man who asked "IS THAT AN OWL?" When I hastily replied "yes", he got even more excited and asked "CAN I HAVE IT???" Then I said no and laughed awkwardly and walked a little faster to get to the bus stop...
Also, I find it kind of hilarious that lots of people are obsessed by Kate Lanphear's pyramid-studded wristwear. Ummmm, have you never been inside a Claire's Accessories before? I have this studded wristband left over from my ninth-grade poser punk days and decided to wear it as a nostalgic piss take. Eat my dust, KL...

ohhh claires accessories. sometimes I go in for nonstalgia but usually I book it out right away. it's a "One of these things is not like the other" feeling.

OMG I can't believe there's another person out there with an owl thing! My best friend is obsessed with owl jewelry and collects any pieces she can find. She has this huge, chunky gold owl pendant with green eyes (when I say pendant it's more in the sense of how Flava Flav sports a clock) that she wears everywhere. LOL you two should go shopping together.

I guess I was an early bloomer for my poser days. I went through mine in 7th grade and part of 8th grade. I don't think I have my studed bracelet anymore.

That bracelet reminds me of all the people in my class who still think avril lavigne is a "rock icon". Of couse, when asked if they have any Fugazi or stooges they give you odd looks and hastily find an excuse to walk off.
