Victory is Everyone's

I am so happy about the Obama sweep that I nearly shed a tear this morning. It's a little ridiculous and frustrating how people (myself included) get so involved in American politics that they choose to ignore their own. Canada's election one month ago had pretty much the lowest voter turnout ever. Booo.

I wore this two days ago. There is a lot going on, but it's simple enough to work.

Yesterday was all about the glamour! it was the first time I'd worn my latex legging out proper and they were pretty much a unanimous hit amongst the peers.

In more random news - I forgot Cory Kennedy existed. Now I remember. She really hasn't come up with anything in a while, has she? Well, I don't read Nylon so I guess I wouldn't know, but... Would you just look at Mark Hunter? Rainbow vomit!

American politics are far more exciting, and a bigger deal is made out of them.

No matter how many times my mum explains to me, I just don't understand British politics!

I don't think I have to say it, but I love everything

I have seen those leggings around and I think they look great. I don't think my legs are long enough to pull them off, they didnt look great on me.

And I cried like a baby last night.

yea it's weird how so many people care. even my friends in Germany had something to say about the election.

Btw- I love the leggings they look really cool in contrast to the dress and coat.

Gah Mark Hunter. Rainbow vomit covered creepy pedophile. His right hand is just a little too close to her chest.

I love the leggings. I would so get a black lame pair if they were in my price range.

about the picture, I found it on flickr, I cant remember whether it said it was from a photo of some vintage fabric or a book, I will try and find it again!

you look so classy in that leopard print coat.

The election felt a little like a football game. I'm immensely glad Obama won and I'm not even american. It's hard not to feel sorry for Mccain though.

cory is kind of overrated. i am sort of over her. her style was good but it's sort of the same thing over and over again. dunno. i met her once, she seems really nice.

I feel like countries that have had voting systems for a long time tend to take the actual system for granted. When placed in a situation in which the right is taken away from you, you realize just how important it is to the political makeup of the nation.

The intense race in the US is something that a lot of youth got caught up on because Obama does such a great job in selling his fresh approach and selling his face. Not that I'm complaining, I'm a huge fan of Obama, I cheered hard when he won!

Btw I love love your outfits. You do a great job working with prints into your look.
