chin up

Somehow in the course of two weeks I've morphed into this freaky loser who only dresses for comfort. Lots of 'life changes' seem to be occurring that don't really need to be elaborated on. But I scored this amazing internship and I'm really busy with school and am just busy trying to enjoy life in general and soak it all in. Fashion is going in this minimalist, black/white direction that I can't seem to enjoy and I'm just feeling a little apathetic about fashion in general. Don't consider this an end to the blog. I'm sure I'll get back in the swing of things but I've decided to only post when I really have something awesome to contribute. I leave you with my own narcissistic version of LastNight'sParty aka silly University students at the pub singing along to the mullet-clad classic rock cover band.

i know the feeling...when i'm super busy I tend to go towards wearing the first thing i find...which sometimes is good...but not always.

Take your time and relax. Though in that simply SMASHING scarf you look like you've been into fashion a great deal! :)

Blogging; it ebbs and flows! We all have our moments of downtime. Sometimes it's hard to focus on fashion when there's so much 'life' going on.

Cute hat. I'm sorry you've been too busy to dress up. Hope things slow down for you. Also, I wanted to tell you that I uploaded a photo that I thought you would appreciate over at my blog. Check it out.

Only for comfort? Bollocks!

I always thought you looked like someone and now I know- Winona Ryder!

Why thank you, dear, but did you see the Krist Noveselic picture? I posted it primarily for your enjoyment.

Isa, just post what you feel. Your blog doesn't always have to be about fashion. Love the hat and the gray sweater, by the way.

Hi,

I'm from a word of mouth marketing company called Matchstick and I’m currently working on the launch of L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes. I am contacting fashionable and hip female bloggers across Canada, hoping to involve them in this launch. I read through your blog and found that you would be a good fit for this program and was wondering if you might be interested. Send me an email if you are: danah [at] matchstick [dot] ca

even your non awesome posts are good, you just write with this natural sense of humor and you totally wear 80s trends, and thermal socks without looking like a creepy old lady that wears flourescent blue jackets with enormous shoulder pads and to much red lipstick. And i love your scarf
