I am not the kind of guy

Midterms are finally over, but before the one I had today I decided that playing dress-up took priority over studying. (Why am I so awful? I was so academic last semester!) Here's what I came up with. I wore this outfit for maybe a total of 15 minutes, but damn it felt good. Sort of a badass Edie Sedwick look? I don't know, I'm just doing my own thing. Over last week's break, I made a killing at Urban Outfitters. I got this fringe shirt for only $10 and a pair of really great dark wash high-waisted skinny jeans for $20. Deals and dress-up are practically the essence of my life.

Odd...I was ALSO far more studious last semester and am not far more into picking out my clothes for the day.

Funny how that happens, eh?

Great leopard coat! Wow

I do the "dressing up when I should be studying" thing too. But it helps me relax and I come out of it feeling a bit more happy and creative.

it is my sincere belief that being academic doesn't necessarily mean NOT trying to find any excuse to procrastinate work. procrastination is how i got through college. hopefully it will also get me through grad school. someday. when i'm already too old to have silly babies.

I am a huge fan of your coat! I've been looking for a leopard coat like that that wasn't a million bucks. Edie Sedgewick=awesome.

There's something about second semesters that causes less academic focus.

I can definitely pick up the bad ass Edie. Sedgewick, not Bouvier Beale.

I think you put together this outfit nicely and it's something that I could never pull off! Leopard pring + fringe + ripped tights + zipper skirt = epicly badass.

Isa, The fringe shirt is great, but even better that you got it on sale. And wearing ripped tights with that leopard coat, genius!

I was the same way in college, oh dear. Always putting outfits together instead of studying, but I don't think mine were nearly as cute as yours.

For some reason I've recently become incredibly obsessed with zippers, so seeing that skirt made me so happy.

There are so many ace things about this outfit I don't know where to start, so I think I'll just gawp at the awesome jacket instead.
