Outside the Tradition

My roommate went to see Lady Gaga last Thursday. She is cooler than me. Yes, I was jealous. Apparently it was quite the costumed spectacle and she referred to a big disco ball as "mother". Can't believe I wasn't there.

Today was rather gloomy and I wanted to spend the day drinking tea and reading Lula (must track down the new issue!) but instead I had to do homework. Outfit posts might be sparse for a while, as my workload is ridiculous.

I watched the strangest movie of all time last night...

Lady Gaga seems like quite the character. I never know what to think about her...

I always look at Lula at Borders, love every bit at it, see the price, and immediately return it to the shelf. buying an issue is on my to do list, though (when I become a Rockefeller).

And yeah, I feel like I'm the only one in the world who doesn't worship Gaga. Anyways, everyone gots their own opinions!

A lady gaga concert would be very fun I think.

I have been trying to find a copy of Lula everywhere! PEI does not have it, and is sorely lacking because of it..

O.k., that trailer was really creepy. I forgot what you were talking about. Oh, yeah, Lady Gaga. I've never even seen a clip of her performing, but she's very visually interesting.

the new lula has chanel iman on the cover and it's okay. i love lula and it is my favorite magazine, so even their okay issues are still better than others. but sandra freij (my fave lula photographer) didn't have that creative of a shoot. come to think of it, the shoots were a touch duller than normal lula shoots. oh well. the illustrations are amazing in the new edition of lula!
i just had a fan girl spew of lula, didnt i? jeez louise....

I love the photo of you reading Lula - it looks so wonderfully relaxing.

Sorry to respond late-ish to your comment about my shoes: sadly, I am a small size 6. My footwear collection of tiny sized shoes has taken years and years to build up!

Personally I wish Lady Gaga would wear more trousers. And you look adorable with the Lula!

I don't know that much about Lady GaGa OR Lula, so I'm gonna be random and say that my favorite English/drama teacher used to have that pink & black girl/boy poster (at the top left of the picture) hanging in her room.
