Save Energy

Yesterday, I bought a lollipop that looks like Sigmund Freud. It tastes like watermelon with a dash of hysteria, penis envy and Oedipus complex.

Just a reminder to everyone that Earth Hour is tonight, so turn off everything that requires electricity from 8:30 - 9:30 pm to save some energy! And the last time I posted about WWII propaganda posters, everyone seemed to enjoy it, so here are a few more that I get a kick out of.

Also, I joined Twitter. Who knows how I can put a Twitter box in my blog sidebar?

Taha. Hilarious! Loving the posters too. I'm going to an exhibition with similar typography stuff - rodchenko and popova - http://www.tate.org.uk/modern/exhibitions/rodchenkopopova/roomguide/room9.shtm - can't wait!

re. twitter in a sidebar... go to twitter, log in, go to settings, under "account" find "more info url" and under that box is a link that says "you can also add twitter to your site here"... click, then click on which blog-writer you use and you're away!

hope that helps.

What would Freud think of that, I wonder. That sometimes a lollipop is just a lollipop?

Your hair looks super cute.
Also, I think my favorite war poster ever was one about girls spreading the clap for the enemy. Yeah, watch out for those loose girls!

i so want a freud lollipop!
yay war posters and earth hour, i was basically the only person that participated in it in my school last year, or at least the only 8th grader(most people denied global warming as being true and liked war and went hunting, totally out of place there)

Haha, I love the lollipop. Also, the 2nd propaganda poster has the perfect mustache.

I am in love with your hair. We are currently studying WWII in History, and coincidentally our topic at the moment is propaganda. Love the art deco style they used.

Oh shoot, I forgot that Earth hour was last night. But then again, it doesn't make a difference, I wasn't home last night 'till 1:00 due to a performance. I really wanted to do it this year too.
