The creepy lipstick at Alexander McQueen F/W 09 freaked me out for a little while, I admit it. But the more I looked at it, the more I saw a resemblance to a cute and cuddly sock monkey. Now every time I think of that lipstick, it just makes me happy. I have a bit of a soft spot for sock monkeys, you see.

VERY true. thank you, that lipstick scarred me deep inside, but now the scar has healed, due to the resemblance to a sock monkey.

I have to agree with you. The resemblance is eerie.
mcqueen can be so off-putting sometimes....but is it strange that i love when designers make me slightly uncomfortable?

oh wow, i could not agree more. i was also just looking at this show and was somewhere between staring out of fear and staring out of intrigue. but seriously, sock monkey is right on the money which in turn is staring out of cuddly amazement.
