twenty years of schooling and they put you on the day shift

So, I know this is about a month late but THANKS TOPSHOP!!! The tote bag is absolutely precious and I love the illustrations, along with all the other little things they sent along.

Long-time readers and friends will know that my mom is a seamstress, and if you didn't already, well, now you do! Anyways, I just noticed how cool her surrounding work-space is so I decided to pretend I was Todd Selby and see the artistic within the ordinary. Hope you enjoy!

ah wow! i love seeing glimpses like this... my sewing stuff is relegated to a dark cupboard as the disorganisation of it all is just too depressing to handle out in the open lol. woop! for topshop. love that tote bag! how is home generally? coping well with highland cows for company? :-D love selby... sigh

look out kid there's something ya did..

I LOVE your mom's workspace!! My mom is a weaver and her workspace is the entire house. This means we have forks and hammers literally just lying around on the floor for people to step on.

I hope this doesn't sound creepy or weird, but my mom went to St. Lawrence for Fashion Design too. She actually taught there for several years until they got rid of the program.

Small world eh?

Why is Topshop sending all the awesome bloggers a tote bag filled with goodies?

These are very Selby-like! I wish my mom did something so colorful. I'm very envious of your topshop package, too.

Your mother's workspace makes me want to take everything in my room and reorganize it according to color!

Your mom has a great space! I have a little sewing room myself but it looks nothing like this. Quite inspiring.

My mom is also into sewing, and taught me to sew when I was 4. I even got a sewing machine for my Sweet 16 (and my friends got cars!). She was taught by my Grandma, and then passed it down to me. I love your photos, and your mom is so neat! I think my fav is #2.

TopShop recently opened down the block from my job and I still haven't visited! I saw a lot of people with the free totebag like yours, its so cute!
