Here Comes Your Man

All weekend, I've just been wearing a variation of this simple outfit: floral grunge-y dress and band shirt. Yesterday it was an Ian Curtis shirt with this dress, plus grey leggings and moccasin boots instead of ripped tights and Docs. I think I like this outfit much better, though. I live for the weekends, when I can dress down and look like hell instead of having to prim things up in order to look 'work-appropriate'...

Oooh, new thrift finds to share! When you live in a small town, it seems like the only thing that kills time is spending hours knee-deep in people's castaway clothes, searching for treasures. For only $5, I snagged this 80s sequin sweater and some lace-up heeled sandals.

love both looks, and those thrift pieces might be the best ever.

Those sandels that you are wearing there? You got them at a thrift store? They look so very now. They remind me of the ones that Carrie wears in the opening of the Sex and the City Movie.

Rad shoes dear, camille just posted some almost exactly the same from target, then I bought them because, apparently I am easily convinced. Especially for 24$ new shoes, which are gorgeous, like yours. I did also find some amazing thrifted sandals recently too, dammit I have a problem. Most likely the vintage ones will go in the store, I have to consolidate.

I've been wearing the same pair of pants for five days straight now. Apart from bedtime, I don't believe I've taken them off since I bought them. Voila, that's comfort dressing. And it's great.
Also, totally agree/understand, thrifting is pretty much the only thing keeping me sane in this little town. But there's enough thrifting to keep me sane for years, which is good.
