fall on your face in those bad shoes.

I wore this yesterday to go eat sushi with friends when the weather was rainy and awful. Somehow, awful weather always translates to dressing super casual - if leaving the house at all.

Vintage Nirvana shirt from Elizabeth (<3), Billabong floral hoodie, DIY bleach jeans, thrifted shoes. This shirt is so old school. I like it that way.
I just thrifted these new cowboy-ish ankle boots which are fantastic. I am currently scheming up ways to match them with every piece of clothing I own.

As I get older, my shopping strategies are definitely changing. I'm finding myself far more willing to pay a lot of money for a piece of clothing I love instead of just buying everything in sight at the thrift store. Don't get me wrong, I still love thrifting but I am so much more selective in what I buy now! I think I'm just going to save up all my money for travel and big-ticket purchases from now on.

That's a cute picture with the umbrella. xo

I used to come home with way too much stuff from the thrift stores and always ended up with garbage bags of things to take right back. Well, I still do! But I know what you mean . . I love that the things you find are always perfectly your style.

loving those shoeesss haha. I would have to agree, buying clothes for the price is worth it but i mean its still pretty fun just to go thrifting and get things just cause theyre cheap and not cause you really want em. haha

Those are a pair of my dream shoes, let me tell you. It seems every thrift store on this island has amazing scarfs and bags, but not shoes :/

Wow, I am impressed at our ability to dress cowboy boots, most people just look like bad country singers or pimps.

I'm envious of your D.I.Y. bleached jeans. I did that to my denim jacket and it turned out very pale but wearable nevertheless. I have yet worked up the courage to "ruin" my jeans.

Cute outfit, the jeans are cool =) I totally agree on that it's much nicer to spend more money on fewer pieces of clothes. In that way every piece gets a history, like how long you saved money for it or how you reasoned for weeks before buying it ;)
