Canada Day!

Happy Canada Day to everyone, whether you live in the country and not! I'm just thankful to have a vacation day where I can sleep in, bum around in my Batman sweatpants and watch a killer fireworks display at nighttime.

But in the real spirit of things - an outfit post!

This was taken yesterday, so it's just another old 'work' outfit. Last year I went through a huge ruffles phase and acquired at least five ruffly shirts in about a two-month period. I was obsessed! I can't say I have the affection for them now that I once did, but they are awfully useful when you need something 'business casual' in a snap.

The shirt's adorable! But for some reason those pants with those shoes together (while I like them both separately) kinda make you look like you have cankles.

Happy Canada Day! I was in Seattle today and saw a man in a coffee shop wearing a Canada sweatshirt with a Canadian flag as a cape on top. I like your shoes, by the way.

hahah susie!

some cities have parades, and if you're in ottawa (the nation's capital), everyone flocks downtown to the parliament buildings to party. oh and the most important part: we drink good, strong, canadian beer. it's fantastic, you should come experience it at some point!

I freaking love this outfit! The t-straps with the socks is awesomely lovely.

Btw, I tagged you! I had to go back and edit my post to do it but I did! No pressure, of course. Pressure-free zone here.

(Hope your Canada Day was fun! I wore red and white that day as an homage to our northern neighbors.)
