This morning I woke up and felt like channeling the silly young Mozart portrayed in the movie Amadeus. The ruffle shirt and button-up granny boots are probably the most 'period' pieces I own, even if they're not the right period at all! I feel like Mozart would appreciate the ruffles though. I first saw that movie in fifth grade music and absolutely hated it, but then had to watch it again another time (most likely in music class a few years later) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking back on it now, I actually really love that movie. Salieri is dead! Oh wait no, just in a mental institution.

I love your ensemble! The blouse is so super duper cool! The skirt and the old fashioned boots just say "look at me... I'm too cool!" You are just so cool and beautiful! I don't know why you complain about your hair...when in this picture it looks good but in the end you're wearing your hair and not me. Hahahahahaha!

The blouse is beautiful!! The shoes are adorable, like how you wear them together. You kinda remind me of a teacher in an anime series, lol. Super cute!

hmmm, you make my cravings for mozart-esque clothing climb by a couple hundred.
so say the least, your granny lace ups are ace.
you sure did hit the high note (mozart, haha). i'm a cheesy ball.
xx
Mozart is my favorite composer, and you drew inspiration well from him, even if it really isn't the same time period.
I think the guy who played Salieri stole the movie, he was great. I also really liked him in Scarface.
awesome movie! great inspiration for an outfit...I had to watch that in euro history and loved it. My friends and I spoke backwards for the rest of the day =) or tried to at least, haha
I definitely see the inspiration. It's probably a result of my culture (or lack there of perhaps) but ruffly high collars always seem victorian to me...
Mozart would be very proud :)
I love that movie!
Ahhh that ruffled dress. So cute! ;D Lovely. Thanks for sharing, have a nice day. ;D

I was actually reading this book called The Mozart Conspiracy, which is basically the Da Vinci code, but with more violence and music ect.
Loving the boots, they channel a cool tomboy from the 1800's kind of feel, I am thinking.

I definitely watched that movie in music class several time. I like it, no matter how historically inaccurate it is. The ruffly shirt is really nice.

Love the ruffles. Definitely Mozart-ish. I wish I could pull off ruffles as well as you could, but alas, my friends just laugh when I try.
LOVELY!
That shirt & those shoes are frickin awesome. Just a gorgeous look. You have surpassed yourself! Haha
I agree with you on "Amadeus". I had to watch it two or three times in school believe it or not (music class, history and film). Just recently I watched it again and fell in love with it. *Insert hilariously annoying Wolfy laugh*
