Flipside

The minute Tina offered me a piece from her etsy shop Cowgirl Heaven, I knew it had to be this ruffly piece of sunshine-y love. It makes me feel like a crazy mutant hybrid cross between a superhero, a princess and a bumblebee. The outfit itself is like the summer version of this outfit I wore last November.

I've fallen hard for the drapes. There is no turning back!

I can't help noticing that soft "ruffling" is everywhere this season, and it's one trend I happily support. This is a very flattering look for you, and everyone else for that matter. When I wear a piece like this, my fingers can't help but absent-mindedly play with the extra fabric.

I love your mother's flowers, her gardening technique is right up my alley. xo

The cut reminds me of a piece that my friend Zang Toi wears...I'm wondering if you could wear it upside down and sort of draped across the elbows -- that's how his sweater is designed to be worn, as a sort of shawl...

Thanks! It's amazing, when I first started getting into Depeche Mode, I didn't think anybody my own age actually liked them. But lots of people do and I think that's awesome. Their older stuff is certainly the best, I haven't even listened to much off their new album (what I have heard is ok, but it just doesn't compare to Violator, Some Great Reward, or Music for the Masses).

I LOVE the vest. You do drapey stuff so well. Everytime I see you wearing something like this, I'm like damn, I need some drape in my closet! The color is fantastic as well.

Re your comment: I totally agree with you. That's actually my main reason for not doing tags, but I didn't really want to say so. I figured I'd do this one just so people wouldn't think I was ignoring them.

So, I think it's a sign that you might want to give it to me.. *hint, hint* Haha. Totally kidding, of course. Except for about the part that I love it. A lot. And, ahhhh, okay. bye.
