Flying Purple People Eater

It's not usually a good thing when your outfit can be compared to a kiddie novelty song from the 1950s, but I'll just take it as it is. Some days, I just want to be comfortable and on those days I tend to disregard the social norm of "wearing pants" and reach for my hippie sweater and trusty Doc Martens. Yesterday was definitely one of those days.

I LOVE THAT SONG. And your sweater. I have to say though, in England wearing pants is practically an act of non conformity. It's a sea of leggings here.

i actually used to say 'pants are a menace to society.'
my parents still comment on it to me whenever i refuse to wear proper bottoms .
i need a long tshirt that says 'FUCK PANTS'

so so good. the poncho-y sweater + docs matchitude is genius. and who needs "pants." pfft. pants. i went a whole YEAR without ONCE wearing pants, earning the admiration (by which i mean uncomfortable fear) of most of my peers.

Your purple ones are sick.

You, disregarding the social norm? (feigning disbelief) That's one of the things we love the best about you Isa. You actually look good in purple, lucky you.

I super like wearing leggings as pants, fuck what other people say about that! This outfit looks so comfy, which I am all for.

Oh, and I completely forgot that I wanted to reply about your comment on my Nobunny post last week. I thin kI initially found his bunny mask/no pants schtick gross and creepy but now I'm just in love with it. But god forbid he play in his birthday suit when I see him live next month; I've heard that he's known to do that sometimes. Some people just enjoy stage attention and I suppose he gets a thrill out of showing people his unmentionables.

When we were trying to figure out where you were, I told Jay to be on the lookout for "a skinny girl probably wearing a baggy sweater and tights with Docs."

I win.
