It's a rainy day today, and I have an ecology lab quiz. Hopefully I pass in the name of science! A couple nights ago, I had the pleasure of seeing UME play in concert, who you should totally check out.
The opening band (which will remain unnamed) was a bunch of guys who were totally fat stoner kids in high school, and likely haven't changed much since then. The lead singer was wearing these weird leather gloves and sang about Nosferatu, which I wholly enjoyed because it was hilarious. UME was wicked, and they weren't even wearing leather gloves! The lead singer is this adorable blonde who can totally shred it on the guitar, she is is amazing! I even got to talk to them after the set and they're such nice people as well.

lucky! gotta love an aged fat stoner for good entertainment value too. i'm hoping there will be plenty of rad concerts on when i'm in the states - bands here are mostly 16 year old kids doing "punk".

UME was amazing! and I agree with you the lead singer is very adorable.
