Hey there ghouls! This is the closest I've come to putting on a 'costume' for Halloween in six years. Instead of being a 'slutty pirate' or something equally unoriginal, I wanted to show my enthusiasm for the holiday in a more subtle way. I thrifted the dress at Value Village earlier this month and knew that black lipstick would create the just the right Halloween vibe.
As an adult, the proper way to celebrate Halloween is to go see the Rocky Horror Picture tonight and buy discounted candy tomorrow.

wow, the first picture is amazing- the dress, the lipstick, and the way the wind is blowing your hair is spooky. and i really like that mesh bit you're wearing under your dress, where is it from?
Love it! So very gothic and grown up.
So pretty~
It's costumey enought for halloween, but you can tell it's not a costume. cool!
I've never seen that movie! D:
watching the rocky horror picture show is the only respectable way to spend halloween. period. love your lipstick!
That should be day wear.
I'm toads over Halloween. Staying in. Making brownies. Watching horror movies.
i love your dress!!!

I love that you took the holiday as an excuse to dress glamorous-creepy . . . you'll be so elegant around those sexy pirates/nurses/angels/maids!
lovely dress!
I love grown-up halloween much more than i ever liked halloween as a child. You're not as candy-crazy 'cause you know you can just buy it cheap yourself tomorrow.

You really managed to work an elegant meets edgy look.
what a cool halloween outfit. Over here we dont even celebrate it so i don't get the chance to do anything. I'd think i'd go as audrey hepburn for Breakfast at Tiffany's though. I have the most amazing dress
wow you can pull off that lipstick very well, lucky you :D
Love the witchy girl image on the post. Very spooky and sweet.
I was a corpse bride...I looked somewhat odd, as I live in Australia and Halloween is really American.
Still. I looked disgusting.
