Into the Blues

Wow, I just realized that I'm on some sort of sick and twisted floral patterns binge. I've mentioned it in three posts in the last week, and this will be the fourth! It's sort of funny, because I generally associate floral patterns with all thing pink and girly - basically everything I hate. It must be some sort of sickness, and one that I don't particularly want to recover from. I wore this outfit last Friday, it wasn't raining but the rubber boots were necessary for my field ecology lab.

Here are some more rad folks who appreciate florals...

I am the same way when I think about floral patterns, but it's good to know you have found floral patterns that suit your liking! I have to admit though, your floral patterns are amazing because I am looking at your ensemble and you look super cool! Tres chic et tres belle. Yes, I do take French class.

How creepy is that? We are both cursed with mysterious diseases. I just recovered from my floral obsession but am currently plagued by "Knitwearsitis". May I say just say that with awesome prints like those, I hope you never recover. Another stunning look!

florals are lovely! it's a great throwback to the 90's, especially when paired with combat boots and a flannel shirt!

I enlarged the last photo to see if her hair is braided or fishtailed. What ever it is, it looks cool.
I googled fishtailing, and found a video instruction on it, and I still can't do it, sigh. (this doesn't have anything to do with florals or rubber boots)
Almost forgot, Victoria's Secret has a sequin jacket for $159. That's the cheapest one I could find.

The expression on the last girl's face is great!
I know how you feel! I always say I dislike florals, and yet...I buy a flower covered prom-dress.

Florals are the best! I've been obsessed with everything floral lately, but I hate pink things, too.

I'd kill for those shorts at the bottom, srsly. Also, if that circle scarf is from AA, we are TOTALLY scarf buddies. I have missed you and how lovely you look. x

I think floral patterns should be more appreciated in a non-girly, princessy way. Although that sometimes can be such fun to wear. (:

i love florals! of course i'm very girly, but they can be worn in a grungy, less happy way.
