Padded Cell

I am currently doing just about everything in my power to avoid screaming like a banshee at the top of my lungs, before crumbling into a large heap of failed potential. Normally I don't have a problem with scream therapy, but I am in a silent library right now and that would be socially unacceptable and just plain rude. Its just better to scream it out in your head while listening to Black Flag on your headphones.

Yep, its kind of hard to say 'this outfit was inspired by Missoni' with a straight face when I'm wearing a classic hippie sweater/"drug rug", but I'm all about the humour.

In other (not) exciting news, I found LEOPARD PRINT EARMUFFS while thrifting last week.

I can see the inspiration, "drug-rug" or no! Ha ha, I like that term for it, my roommate has one he wears all the time but he never makes it look slightly classy like this :~)

I like it, it's like "Obi One Missoni".
Leopard ear muffs, fashionably sensible.

the ear muffs are fucking awesome! and I do the 'silent scream' of rude words sometimes when I'm very stressed in my head, slightly passive (closet?) aggressive, but it works.

I love your earmuffs!...And your blog, I found it while I was researching Harris Burdick and I love hearing what you have to say. About the "scream therapy" I do it all the time, just in my head, =]

I see it, I see it: the scarf head draping... defintely a resemblanc. I think a drug rug can be excused when you need scream therapay.

Also, I was just telling my mom about how I wanted earmuffs. So jealous. It's around 30-40 degrees here! D:

Dude, I used to want one of those so badly when I had dreads. I think everyone should rock the "drug-rug" at some point in their life, and I think humor is the best vehicle with which that action should be carried out. Funnily done!

I don't think I've ever seen one of those look anywhere this close to chic. This just goes to show that there are most certainly no rules of bad fashion - there is ALWAYS a way to make it look awesome. Great job!
