Some of my favourite women in music take damn good black and white photos, so I thought I would share. PJ Harvey, Kate Bush and Lady Gaga are a pretty diverse bunch of artists, but they all inspire me in one way or another.
Oh, and why not add some Smiths lyrics to the mix?

Great photos! As much as I despise how much commercialism has ruined contemporary music, I think Lady Ga Ga is the saving grace who took direct advantage of the industry and is making an empire out of it. Smart woman that Ga Ga is!

i have become obsessed with lady gaga as of late. she is pretty much my idol.
and yes, the smiths are fantastic. my favorite song is probably "the boy with the thorn in his side." absolute aural beauty.
