Drain You

It's not that often that I get excited about all the blog-related 'special offers' in my inbox (wedding rings? no thanks!), but this is one exception that I was genuinely excited to share with you. The t-shirt I'm wearing is from T-post, a Swedish project that bills itself as the 'world's first wearable magazine'. Basically, they come out with a new t-shirt design that correlates to a pop culture article printed on the inside of the shirt that gets 'published' every month. The shirt I'm wearing is called 'Higher Education of Just Plain High?' and features a fascinating article on the value of traditional education in light of crazy University classes like 'Cyberporn and Society' and 'the Simpsons and Philosophy', not unlike my 'Nature, Art, Myth and Folklore' class! Read the article online here and browse all the t-shirt back issues. T-post is the future, dudes!!

I think I was in high school when bright colour pants became trendy, which probably makes me an idiot for jumping on the bandwagon when I'm almost halfway done university. But I'm all about crazy legwear and these pants are it. I also paired them with neon socks for a potentially blinding effect.

I like those trousers. Especially with those socks. I also like the tee shirt- what a cool idea to have an article which you can wear! As a budding fashion journalist (when I say budding, I mean in my dreams- at the moment, my 'journalistic' work equates to me wittering on about how my shoes rub on the interwebs) I feel this is the perfect work outfit.

The detail photo of you outfit is A+. Dying over that combination.

Oh that shirt is brilliant!
What if you could read articals online and then have the one which best decribes your views printed onto the shirt for the world to see?

It's so cool~

My god, I love this outfit! The bright pants, the neon socks, the T-post!! All so good and something I want to wear freaking today.

(Where are those pants from?)

Interesting article on the tshirt. Although one could argue that my classical education won't be that much more beneficial. Really, when and with who am I going to strike up a conversation in Latin about the Iliad?

That is the coolest t-shirt ever. I just know if I got one I'd wear it inside out and tell people to read the article.

Awesome! The tee is a great idea and I neeeeed to be brave enough to wear bright trousers. I wear crazy colour tights but trousers give me major bum & thigh fear!

Can you explain more about the t-post? I was asking my parents if I could get them but they said its too expensive. D: Are you getting them in every 6 weeks?

AHhhaaa, I'm the same way with bright jeans! I luuuurved them when they first came out but I kept thinking "i'll get some later, I'll get some later", but then I never did. I ordered some mustardy coloured ones like 2 years ago and wore them once. But these are quite nice, I love the blue!!

ps- so jelous that your thighs don't touch... woops, was that wierd?...

This t-shirt is honestly the coolest thing I've seen in a while.

Your socks. I want them. On my feet.

That came out pretty gross.

Anyway, I was just commenting to humbly ask you to take a look at my Etsy store. My blog is pretty much dead (although I periodically THINK about posting on it), but I thought you might be interested. Don't feel obliged, of course.

Sick tee, at any rate!

Those socks and pants are so obnoxiously florescent, which is exactly why I love them! I think pop culture is certainly worth being inspected, academically. I mean, come on, kids already learn 3/4 of their facts and life lessons from popular cultural shows and magazines, we might as well get them to write a paper about them from a critical POV. After that, we should qualify their opinions based on a A - F (sans the E )grading scheme. Although, those who get F's should really re-think their approach to watching T.V.

what a brill idea for t-shirts
maybe they should consider a line of sweatpants too
so the articles can be stamped on people's derrieres instead of JUICY or HOTTIE or school's mascot
