Telephone

So I got another book in the mail. This time it happens to be 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls' and the cover art is so beautiful that I was inspired to create an outfit right away! The zombie girl on the cover is super creepy and wearing a white lace dress, so I decided to go with a granny dress and slip. Usually this outfit would be considered pretty and romantic, but today I was going for the 'demented anti-goth' look, if y'know what I mean?

I predict this will be an exceedingly entertaining read. Click here if you want to win the book!

I love the balance between romantic and goth, makes me wish I wasn't wearing florals today, but alas, too late (and I'm too lazy to change!). Have a good read, the original Pride&Prejudice is one of my fave books, so let me know what the spin off is like :)

Lovely outfit! I'm a big fan of slips right now.

Be sure to update with a bit of a review of the book, I've seen it around, but still haven't picked it up!

What a brilliant book! When you're done reading it, I wish you would put it up for bids.
You did a good job on replicating that outfit.

That book is very amusing...the follow-up ones...not so much.

I've got the first Pride & Prejudice and Zombies on my reading list. Have you read Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters? That one looks particularly hilarious. I do love the outfit though, the slip is the greatest.

After being inspired by one of your previous posts I ordered 'Girl Power' and started reading it on wednesday night. I absolutely love it so far. However the fact that Tanya Donelly isn't mentioned anywhere in it kinda bothers me. She had two genius bands Belly and Throwing muses who were pretty popular, they played Reading and Glastonbury. Tanya has many times said in interviews that she's a proud feminist yet she gets no mention? Pah! But oh well, I guess they can't mention everyone!

Another thing when Juliana Hatfield is mentioned I really don't think she gets enough praise for what she's done. She inspired SO many young girls to play guitar and helped young girls with problems at home relate to something. I even play guitar because of her! Yet the few sentences about her weren't very appreciative/flattering.

Anyway this book looks interesting too! You might just be my reading inspiration!
