Floating in Space

Ahh, the dog days of summer. I've spent most of my time occupied with work, but it is enjoyable nonetheless. The rain is making me a bit melancholy this morning but it's the perfect mood to listen to Elliott Smith. I wore this outfit to work yesterday, when it was a bit sunnier. These Salvatore Ferragamo loafers were thrifted a few weeks ago, but somehow haven't made it into an outfit picture yet. The only designer pieces I ever find at thrift stores are Ferragamo shoes (and Moschino purses). It's like they gravitate to me, the same way weird sweaters do.

Joel drew on my water bottle. I like it.

Those shoes are a great find! I thrifted an old pair of loafers [still in good condition]at the local salvation army and I couldn't be happier too!

Your little doodle is comical too. I wish sharpie stayed on better to surfaces when drawing. My life it would be a little bit happier if it did

Awesome socks and desperately jealous of your loafers. My ferragamos finally died after one too many soakings in the rain. Xxxc

oh my god, I am JEALOUS of weather warm enough to wear an outfit like that. I'm still in tights and sweaters most of the time. what's up with that?? my favorite part of summer is wearing as little clothing as possible.

The lower half of this outfit I am ESPECIALLY liking, I am looking for shoes like those! Very classic '60s what with the pilgrim buckle and squared-off toes.

So cute. And I find Ferragamo shoes, too! I'm trying to sell some ferragamo sandals on etsy as i type this. What's with people and discarding ferragamo? Also, do your knee socks stay up or do you find yourself constantly adjusting like I do when I wear them?
