I decided to revisit the 'geek socks' look with today's outfit. Clearly I am determined to make pasty white legs with white socks of an awkward height a trend if it's the last thing I do! Also, Chris said I look like a milkmaid in this outfit. What the heck?!
Also, I never ever take pictures of what I wear out at night (because it's dark, duh) but those outfits are always way better than what I wear during the day! For example, last night I wore a tight black lace top, with black disco pants and pointy boots. It was very goth/dominatrix but will you ever see photographic evidence that I ever wore that? NO. So I got changed early before I go out tonight just to show you guys my uber-awesome 90s party outfit. I kinda look like a sad indie kid, but truth is stranger than fiction.

Loveeeeeee it :) and go white socks and pasty legs! Join the club, we were looking for a janitor ;)
oooh cool outfits, love them a lot!
I never take photos of the night outfits either, but they are usually the good ones!
(Last week I just re-did one of my night outfits in the day purely for a blog post!)
you look like this amazing "geek" (instead of greek, ha ha, so smart) goddess. like really? fantastic.
I loved the dress jeans and belt retro, love their clothes.

you have such wonderful outfits! it's very nerdy cute
The truth is, we all look like sad indie kids. Sad indie kids make the world go round.
(Excuse me as I laugh at my own words).
Anyway, I love the top picture more than anything right now. One of my favs.
I love the boots in both pictures, especially the second one... and you're definitely rocking the geek socks ;)

Ahh, I was watching Twin Peaks recently and I thought of you. It's just... the geeky-coolness is very similar.
Woo! Geek socks! I love your skirt in the second picture, and your new header is pretty sweet.
k the second outfit is ace
take off the belt and the tights and I'd be all over that shit (on me)
love the geeky day look. and the later outfit too, for that matter. I like the mishmash of brooches on the blazer.
I actually like the white socks. :3
I love the second outfit.
i definitely dont see milkmaid here.
love the big bold blazer though.. it looks kind of funny but you pull it off like no other indie kid

I'm so jealous of your dress - I have been looking for one like that for ages it seems... And your belt in the second photo looks lovely!

Both of these outfits are so lovely.
GIRL. I commend you for your fabulously geek outfit. (For the record, I don't think it's geeky). But, you know, one day THOSE EXACT SOCKS WILL BE IN STYLE and you will say "Pfft, I was uncool before uncool was cool."
And I will be psychic.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I'm all for Clothing of Awkward Length. It's the best kind of clothing. Also, loving the paraphernalia on your lapels--- a lot.
Oh man, the uber-brooch blazer is back again! Looks great on you with that tartan skirt.

I love both outfits, I am do going to try the white socks things soon, it is going to be pretty hard considering I don't have any white socks whatsoever.

I know what you mean about the night outfits. Sometimes I think an outfit is so good I should change into it the next day for photographic evidence, but that never happens. When the evening's done the magic is gone!
Loving the blog
