Victimhood

The other day I saw a girl wearing THE coolest dress. It had fancy criss-cross back detail and it took me a minute to realize that 'hey, that dress is from American Apparel!" So, I promptly exchanged a dress I wasn't quite warming up to for this navy blue bandeau pencil dress! I am copying the style of a complete stranger, but let's just pretend that's not weird.

this dress in magenta was my first ever AA purchase--spring break 2006, south beach. i had a $5 coupon. i didn't realize until years later the different ways you could tie it. the navy is perfect for you! makes me wanna bust mine out...

This outfit is pretty simple, and yet, I totally love it! The shoes and belt make it special :)

I like the back! the lower back is a little tight though.

Such an elegant yet fun+casual dress :)

This dress is AWESOME and it looks great on you! I love the cut in the front as well as the criss-cross back too!

I could go on and on about this dress! It is just wonderful!

p.s. dont worry about copying a complete stranger's style because I do that same thing if I like someone's outfit Ill just take it as inspiration and just put my own spin on it!

that dress is fabulous, and it looks great on you. however you need to get your panty lines in check girl! you can see them even in the front.

That really is a great dress!

Also I just wanted to say how happy I am that your twitter is currently full of The Room-related posts. My friends and I CANNOT stop laughing over that movie. Yesterday I was over at my friend's house and when her dad first saw me he said "oh hi, Angelica!" My friend and I burst out laughing for like 5 minutes straight. The fucking greatest movie ever made.

"Everyone betray me! I fed up with dis wor-old!"

You are drop dead gorgeous. Funnily enough I owned that dress back when it first come out too but wasn't quite sure how to wear it. Wish I had you to copy then D: (okay that sounds weird too)

very cute ! i dont know if ive ever done that but i do admit i feel like doing it almost every day . perhaps just once.

although ihave copied a mannequin at american apparel.. but it was a bit odd because i felt that i had come up with the look myself and now im confused as to wether it had simply seeped into me or if maybe the stylist has just had a similar idea as me.

Love this dress on you! I sometimes "copy" from complete strangers on the street too so don't worry. :)

The dress is lovely, simple yet it works on you although....

Back view: That makes your arse look huge...despite you being quite slim meaning it is probably two sizes too small.

VPL, you need a thong with this dress

This is what I would call snajsigt. You probably don't know what that is, because it's a mix of the nice (in Sweden we pronounce najs as nice)and snyggt (Swedish word for pretty). However, love the dress! Haha ;)

it really, really isn't weird. we're all strangers here.
