Cougar Bar

Good news, I finally got my hands on the plaid sheer chiffon shirt from American Apparel! After waiting for what seems like an eternity (real time: two weeks), it got shipped to the store and I couldn't be more pleased. Everyone at work calls it the 'cougar' shirt, because apparently it is the uniform of older women preying on young men in bars? Today is shaping up to be excellent, mostly because I spent the morning milling over the August issue of Vogue with a cup peppermint tea and bar of chocolate. Also, my hair looks half-decent for the first time, um, ever?

LOOK MA, NO MAKE-UP!

Oh I love this! Thanks for your comment--I finished part one of the fall style post, and I'll include your photos in part two. Your style is such an inspiration! :)

Also, has anyone ever told you that you look a tad bit like Ingrid Michaelson? Because I definitely see the resemblance.
xoxo Maddie.

AA is pretty good, no?

Haha, cougar shirt? Really? I've never seen cougars in AA plaid before! The ones around here are usually decked out in ugly wrap dresses from Talbots or Ann Taylor or something! That shirt is way too cute to be cougary! :D

I'm in love with this top,
plaid print on sheer fabric is the best combo EVER!

And I'm totally jealous of your hair. I'm actually thinking of growing mine out so I can do a topknot, too.

hahahhhahah It's nice how you can get way from Lydia's negatore attitude about this shirt, and enjoy your true followers admiration of it.
