Odessa

I tried taking a decent outfit photo this morning but ended up just looking like a bottom-heavy Triceratops, which is NOT the way I would like strangers on the internet to view me as (though if anyone wants to try out a clever photoshop I wouldn't mind). The only clear solution is Mac Photobooth, where I always end up liking how grainy the photos look.

Been wearing my hair in a loose french braid these days. It gives me an ironic rat-tail.

Velvet Comme des Garcons top worn with awful cutoff jean shorts that I've had since I was 14. Love that high-low juxtaposition.

Not to forget my evil pointy witch boots! These ain't Glinda's boots, and the next you see me wearing them I'll have my face painted green, cackling jibberish about your dog.

i die for that velvet top. you got it at Beacon's, right? that place is totally hit-or-miss but you clearly lucked out that time. i found a lime green Proenza Schouler skirt last time i was there!

hey, no judgments, but i read that your favorite book is the beauty myth, and it made me wonder, how do feel about working at american apparel?

I really love that top, and would wear it with "patchy" jeans.
I like your hair pulled back like that, very French indeed.

Whenever someone says "cutoffs", I always think of Arrested Development...

"He's a never-nude."
"Oh, so that's what's up with the cutoffs."

george costanza and i share sentiments concerning velvet:
i'd be draped head to toe if it were socially acceptable...

i just started taking outfit photos and its amazing how much of the outfit gets lost of distorted in a photograph - i look in the mirror and im like 'oh damn you NAILED it!" and then i look at the picture a second later and its uuuuglay. I would like to improve my SLR skills!
