This is unquestionably my favourite outfit I have worn in sooo long! The pleated skirt was bought on one of my very first thrifting excursions, most likely even before the advent of this blog (so many moons ago). I bought it because it reminded me of rich old ladies who wear pearls and go for afternoon tea, but never wore it because of the awkward length. It sat in my sewing pile, waiting to be hemmed into a miniskirt and I am so happy that I never got around to chopping it, because now this awkward length is the best thing ever!
Worn with a heinous men's XL DIY crop top and high heel Doc Martens.

Love your skirt! It looks great with the docs.
really cool outfit!
I love the shirt and I love your background for all your photos! The wall is very unique!
I normally don't like heeled Doc's but these are lovely! Mind me asking what type they are?
I. Love.
Awesome skirt!! I guess the awkward length is back in style now, what with all the maxi skirts people are wearing. I'm glad you didn't hem it, it looks great as-is!
you look fucking ace. The skirt is amazing, and makes me want to dig out my Diva docs again.

I looooove that shirt, I remember when you got it (or wrote about it). It would make anything else you wear look great, even that skirt.
That's why I'm always a little uncertain about cutting/hemming DIY projects--I always change my mind about what looks good in the future. Years ago, I'd want it short too...but I think the length is pretty wicked now.
I bought my first ever pair of loafers today for 10.00 bucks at a thrift store today! I thought of your blog.
Umm... Awesome.`

Good thing you didn't get around to hemming your skirt, the length works well and shows off your boots.

I've been trying to experiment with longer skirt lengths, especially after purchasing this really awesome plaid one that comes down to my feet...I'll use this as inspiration! :D
