This post is alternately titled: "What I Wore To Go See Black Swan In Theatres for the Second Time." Classic granny floral button-down shirt. funky granny sequin cardigan and a more age-appropriate knit pencil skirt. Holy crap, looking at these pictures makes me realize how badly I need to clean my room.
In other exciting news, check out the amaaaazing Morrissey tie-dye shirt that Marlena hand screen-printed for me! She is the unequivocal master of do-it-yourself. I never thought tie-dye could be better than it already is, but then you slap a Morrissey graphic on it and everything becomes so much better!
90s Drew Barrymore is clearly my tie-dye soul sister alter ego.
Marlena also made me a fantastic lavender peter pan collar with its own Courtney Love hanger!! I would wear it but it looks too perfect just casually decorating my wall, y'know? Thanks so much, lady!
I also bought a cheapie Hole necklace off eBay to cement my Courtney groupie-dom... Yay!

This is so funny, I am listening to the Smiths at this very moment, and tidying my room! I am currently waiting for Black Swan to get to my tiny Welsh town in a fortnight. I'm quite excited but think I might be a bit terrified, I'm such a wimp of a girl.
And Marlena's amazing DIY skills put me to shame. I am about to start making a dress but know it won't be anywhere near as good as her masterpieces.
I second being a wimp of a girl. Don't think I'll go see it, too scary, but I wish I could see stills of all the dresses the Rodarte sisters designed ♥ Alas, I am too weak at heart for what seems like such a scary movie!
Wow, I love the first outfit sooo much! That Courtney Love hanger is absolutely fantastic, as is the Peter Pan collar. Swoon!
xoxo
Oh god that Courtney Love hanger is so creative and amazing. I saw Black Swan once and got scared (the hell out)...can't believe it was nominated for best costumes. SHAME
I have a weird obsession with Marlena! She is the DIY/fashion goddess! I strive to be like her! You are so lucky to receive presents from her!

ooh! So much great stuff in one post. The courtney love hanger and collar are incredible, super cool. xx
Wow, so much great in one post.
I've been so into the whole tie dye thing lately, I'll have to try it out soon!
Ahhh so jealous I want my personal Courtney hanger!
And the Mozza t shirt is so boss.
That cardigan is just perfect! I'm saddened by the lack of sequins in my life right now (need to remedy that ASAP).
That shirt really is the best of both worlds. I'm glad you like it! :)
Love the collar, the Courtney hanger just makes it even better!

I feel as if you should actually attempt to follow some of your followers and see what they're asthetics to fashion are actually all about. I'm not for sure if you have the time to do so, but I feel as if your followers would feel more appreciative if you coresponded and comunicated more to them like they do for you.
can't believe you called your roommates your interns, low blow. unless they're ok with it, then it's okay.
LOVE that retro Drew Barrymore pic - thanks for sharing!
that courtney love hanger is actually amazing. pretty jealous. love what you wore, i've got that knit skirt too - snappp. x
Sweetie, the granny cardigan outfit is too cute. How was the second viewing of Black Swan? I loved it, but sometimes I get worn out on things I loved when the get SO MUCH attention. I'm thinking it still holds up though?
I'm a wimp, but I didn't think Black Swan was very scary. It does haunt you for a few days though--not in a scary way, but in a disturbing way.
I hope all interested wimps will take a chance and see it!
