I had to work today, so I'm wearing all American Apparel except for the floral cardigan which was thrifted. It took me a really long time to warm up to this "camel" colour, which is generally referred to less fondly as "beige" but I actually quite enjoy it now. I call them my "Tim Hortons pants" because their loose shape and beige colour kind of resembles the awful uniform worn by Canadian coffee purveyors all across this Great Land.
Also, I am just a wee bit obsessed with the kitschy jewelery over at
Eccentric Accessories (an Etsy shop name that I personally identify with). I love that Ruth makes jewelery out of simple, ubiquitous items like keyboard pieces and dominoes but my absolute favourites are the necklaces made out of
Monopoly pieces. Too cute! I have wonderfully fond memories of playing Monopoly with my best friend Shelby and laughing so hard I almost peed.
