No Church in the Wild

This is what I wear when I just don't give a crap: thrifted Polo Ralph Lauren button-down shirt, a pilly camel cardigan from American Apparel, new Gap jeans that I'm "breaking in" (aka I've been wearing them for 4 days straight) and the Most Comfortable Boots in the World, Blundstones. Unfortunately, neither school or fashion has been particularly enthralling lately. I mean, Kanye, why did your collection have to stink so royally? You could have paid anyone to do an awesome job for you and it still looks like an awkward mash-up between Balmain and Bebe. Eww.

However, let's get all jazzed up because I've designed the cover for issue #2 of PLANT magazine. WHEEEEE, I love it! There's going to be wicked articles on everything from Harry Potter to iPhone apps to Lady Gaga vs. Marilyn Manson plus so much more. Here's hoping it'll be available for sale by November 1st!

Haha when I read a mix between bebe and balmain I almost cried-laughed. then I saw then collection and OMG you read it how it is. It is terrible. The cover looks sick. Can't wait to see the rest of it come together. :)

Lol, you look great for not giving a crap. I wear paint-laden terry-towelling tracksuit pants from the early ninties. I actually have them on right now.

The Plant cover looks great, and LADY GAGA VS. MARILYN MANSON, I'M SOLD. I never thought I would wish for October (my favorite month) to go by quickly, but it looks like you just changed that.

P.S. Your outfit is adorable!

Wow, seems like not giving a crap leads to great outfits! I really like the dandyness about it. Sort of elegant and classy, yet nonchalant.

Oh, regarding the Kanye West collection.. Totally agree. All I saw were butts, boobs, bellies, some leather and stupid fur. I guess there are some things I'm just not supposed to understand..

Bye!

wow that cover looks really nice (and this is coming from a graphic design student) nice illustration! Ha, I agree, the Kanye West collection was soo bad. So expected too, he didn't surprise at all -__- Also, as if he presents his first one at PFW. What a joke.

Hmm, I suppose Kanye will have to find some other medium in which to express himself-- good luck with that tho! . . .

Bored with fashion? I'd diagnose a too much of too muchness (plus it's so distracting to have to even consider spring when the wondrousness of fall unfolds).

I'm always nurturing multiple enthusiasms, but for you, I'd take a curious gander at G.V.G.V.'s fall collection
