Dreams

Today I am in Baltimore, but yesterday I wore an ankle-grazing tartan skirt from the clan Robertson, a black and white marled cardigan and Dr. Martens loafers which break my feet while I simultaneously try to break them in.

I'm not exactly sure why, but this outfit reminds me of a school teacher.. maybe it's the shoes, probably the skirt. Maybe instead of teacher, I should be thinking of student =/ I don't know. Anyway, when I bought my first pair of docs, the first time I wore them, was a day of walking around the city. By the end, my feet were in SO much pain. I wanted to cry, I felt nauseous and I felt like I had to vomit. So nice.

This outfit is very Harry Potter for me. I don't mean Harry would wear it, but some witch somewhere on Diagon Alley would. :) A cool witch who probably has a second hand shop on said alley... Oh my, a witch second hand shop in London. I think I just dreamed up a place of perfection.

Don't Doccers always break your feet when you try to break them in?
I'm still enjoying your new hair by the way.

I totally understand! I recently got a pair of those loafers in baby blue, D.Ms are like slippers once they're broken in, but getting to that perfect point is PAINFUL!

Fantastic! You look like a saucy librarian who's ready to play Sonic Youth-esque music on guitar. So bad-ass

First off, you have executed one of the most complicated things, in my opinion, beautifully. That is, finding the right length sweater to pair with any skirt that isn't mini. Second, agreed, those loafers are wonderful.
